Yeshua and Torah
Yeshua flatly opposed, and sternly condemned, the man-made regulations of the Oral "Torah," but not once did He refute the Written Torah given through Moses on Sinai. It should also be clearly understood that he did not deny the Traditions of the Fathers — or "Oral Torah" — as set of cultural habits, which can or not have certain validity in the Jewish experience. He himself abode by some of them, like observing the Rabbinic Festivals of Purim and Hanukkah. What he did was to denounced them as so-called "Commandments of the Almighty." Think about it, is it bad to wash your hands before meals? Certainly not. So, Rabbis did well in coming with an ordinance like in order to preserve people's health through good habits of sanitation. That was not an issue with Yeshua. What he took an issue with was to elevate such good cultural regulation, to the same level of the Commands in Torah because HaShem forbade such practice from happening. Observe the following Command,
Deuteronomy 4:2
2 "You shall not add anything to what I command you, or take anything away from it. But keep the Commandments of YHWH your Elohim that I enjoin upon you."
A few chapters later it repeats the same Command in a more specific way,
Deuteronomy 13:1
1 "Be careful to observe ONLY that which I enjoin upon you — neither add to it, nor take away from it."
In the book of Joshua we read,
Joshua (Yahoshuah) 1:7
7 Now, you must be very strong and resolute to observe faithfully all the Teaching that my servant Moses enjoined upon you. Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.
And there is counsel in Proverbs that has to do with it,
Proverbs 30:5-6
5 Every word of Elohim is pure, a Shield to those who take refuge in Him. 6 Do not add to his Words, lest He indict you and you be proved a liar.
This is why Yeshua was very careful in stating,
Matthew (Mattithyahu) 5:17
17 "Do not think that I came to abolish Torah (the Law) or the Prophets. I did not come to abolish (it), but to fulfill (it)."
Did he know that not long after him a highly deceiving false prophet, prophesied in Habakkuk 2:4-5 and known in history as Paul of Tarsus, who would teach exactly the opposite, i.e. that Yeshua had fulfilled Torah for all, and therefore had abolished it once and for all "liberating" us from our duty to observe it? Did Yeshua said this while thinking in countless millions of Christians that through the ages would swallow the infernal Pauline deception hook, line and sinker?
Did really Yeshua fulfilled Torah? What for? But first, what is fulfilling Torah anyway?
These are some examples of such fulfillments:
Succoth ( Tabernacles )? True birthday of Yeshua?
John (Yohanan) 1:14
14 And the Torah [ HaTorah ] became flesh [ not a resemblance of flesh, like Gnostics in the first centuries said ] and dwelt [ tabernacled, set His Tabernacle ] among us. And we saw His Glory — Glory as of the only begotten from the Father — full of Grace and Truth
Pesach ( Passover )? Sacrifice of Yeshua?
Matthew (Mattithyahu) 26:2
2 You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for execution at the stake.
Yom Teruah ( Day of Trumpets )? Second Coming?
Matthew (Mattithyahu) 34:24-31
1 And He will send forth His angels with a Great Trumpet and they will gather together His Elect from the four winds — from one end of the sky to the other
Revelation (Gilyanah) 11:15
15 Then the 7th angel sounded [ his Shofar or Trumpet ]; and there were loud Voices in Heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He will reign for the ages."
Shavuot ( Pentecost )? Wedding of the Lamb?
Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu) 31:31-33
31 "Behold, Days are coming," declares YHWH, "when I will make a New Covenant [ a Marriage Covenant ] with the House of Israel and with the House of Yahuda [ the whole 12 Tribes of Yisrael, not with Gentiles ] — 32 not like the Covenant which I made with their fathers in the Day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt — My Covenant which they broke although I was a husband to them," declares YHWH. 33 Instead, this is the Covenant which I will make with the House of Israel. "After Those Days," declares YHWH, "I will put My Torah within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My People."
- Shavuot was the Day when all Israel heard the Voice of the Almighty telling them from the fire of the mountain the 10 Devarim [ the 10 Words or 10 Commandments ].
- On Shavuot YHWH and all Israel got married trough an Eternal Covenant.
- Even thought Israel broke it in multiple occasions, Elohim always has remained True to it. Therefore, He never got into any adulterous relationship with any other nation, or group of Gentiles whatsoever. Never! Therefore, the so-called Gentile Church is diluted in thinking that it will marry Him on the Wedding of the Lamb. It is Israel the only Bride.
- On a future Shavuot, the Wedding of the Lamb shall take place. On that Day the Bride will be the Congregation of Israel, not the so-called Gentile Church.
- On that Day, the Bride [ Israel ] will be composed by all the righteous genetic descendants of Ya'akov throughout all the generations — according to the Judgment of Elohim — as well all the righteous Gentiles. Obviously, excluded will be those who consciously reject Israel and her Marriage Covenant with the Elohim.
- The Wedding of the Lamb is nothing but the Renewal Marital Vows between Elohim and Israel. Such a Renewal is needed due to the many infidelities of Israel, which caused a temporary distancing between the two. This Reconciliation is provided by the Eternal and Gracious Love of Elohim for Her.
Revelation (Gilyanah) 19:6-9
6 Then I heard something — like the Voice of a great multitude, and like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder — saying, "Hallelu'Yah! Because YHWH our Elohim, the Almighty, reigns. 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give the Glory to Him, for the Marriage of the Lamb has come and His Bride has made herself ready." 8 It was given to Her to clothe Herself in fine linen, bright and clean, since the fine linen is the righteous acts of the Set-Apart Ones.
9 Then he said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the Marriage Dinner of the Lamb'." And he said to me, "These are True Words of Elohim."
Both, the Justice and the Grace or HaShem are synthesized in both, the Written and Living Torah
John (Yohanan) 1:14
14 And the Torah [ HaTorah ] became flesh and dwelt among us; and we saw His Glory — Glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of Grace and Truth
Matthew (Mattithyahu) 25:31-33
31 But when the Son of Man comes in His Glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His Glorious Throne. 32 All the nations [ Gentiles ] will be gathered before Him. And He will separate them from one another — as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats — 33 and He will put the Sheep on His Right, and the Goats on the Left.
- Messiah is the eternal Living Torah.
- Messiah's words constitute the Written Torah.
- He was the intermediary Angel of YHWH who gave Moses the Written Torah upon the Sinai Mountain.
- The Words of Torah — Living or Written — will never pass away. They are eternal.
- Since Messiah is YHWH's Living Torah, he could fulfill the Written Torah.
- Since Messiah is YHWH's Living Torah, he could clearly explain the Written Torah.
- Since Messiah is YHWH's Living Torah, he will be able to judge everyone by the Written Torah.
Torah will not pass even in the Olam Haba. This is why in the Messianic Kingdom the keeping of Torah will be sternly enforced upon all the Gentile nations
- Now, its keeping is let to be voluntary — as a way of practice
- Then, its keeping will be enforced — as a way of necessity
Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 66:22-24
22 "For just as the New Heavens and the New Earth, which I make, will endure before Me," declares YHWH, "So your [ It is talking about Israel ] offspring, and your name [ Heb. 'shem' means 'name', 'renown', 'fame' or 'characteristics'. It also means 'breath' ], will endure.
23 And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Shabbath to Shabbath, all mankind will come to bow down before Me," says YHWH. 24 Then, they will go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me [ How did they transgress what against Him? By breaking or ignoring Torah! ] — when their worm will not die and their fire will not be quenched, and they will be an abhorrence to all mankind."
Matthew (Mattithyahu) 5:18
18 Because I tell you for real that until Heaven and earth have passed away, not one Yod [ the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet ], nor the least Stroke [ of a letter ] — shall pass away from the Torah, until everything is.
- Evidently, Heaven and earth have not passed away yet !!!
- Evidently, not all is yet accomplished.
( Although it will be AFTER the still future Messianic Kingdom )
Therefore, ALL Torah still stands — just exactly as in the Day when it was given to Israel on the first Shavuot at the foot of Mount Sinai.
Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 40:8
8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our Elohim stands FOREVER !!!
You night wonder what part of FOREVER Gentilizers cannot understand?
1 Peter (Kepha Aleph) 1:25
25 But the Word of YHWH endures FOREVER." And this is the Word which was preached to you.

Leviticus (Wayikra) 18:4-5
4 You are to perform My Judgments and keep My Statutes, to live in accord with them. I am YHWH your Elohim. 5 So you shall keep My Statutes and My Judgments, by which a man may live if he does them. I am YHWH.
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4:1
1 Now, oh Israel, listen to the Statutes and the Judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you may live and go in and take possession of the Land which YHWH, the Elohim of your fathers, is giving you. 2 You shall not add to the Word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the Commandments of YHWH your Elohim which I command you.
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4:5-6
5 See, I have taught you Statutes and Judgments just as YHWH my Elohim commanded me, that you should do this in the Land where you are entering to possess it. 6 So keep and do them, for that is your Wisdom and your Understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these Statutes and say, "Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people."
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 5:1
1 Then Moses summoned all Israel and said to them: "Hear, oh Israel, the Statutes and the Ordinances which I am speaking today in your ears, that you may learn them and observe them carefully.
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 6:1
1 Now this is the Commandment, the Statutes and the Judgments which YHWH your Elohim has commanded me to teach you, so that you may do them in the Land where you are going over to possess it, 2 so that you and your son and your grandson might fear YHWH your Elohim, to keep all His Statutes and His Commandments which I command you, all the days of your life, and so that your days may be prolonged.
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 8:1
1 All the Commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, so that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the Land which YHWH swore to give to your forefathers.
Psalm (Tehillim) 119:4
4 You have ordained Your Precepts that we should keep them diligently.
Psalm (Tehillim) 119:34
1 Give me understanding, that I may observe Your Torah [ Heb. Instruction ] and keep it with all my heart.
Do you believe in Yeshua? Look what he said:
Matthew (Mattithyahu) 5:17-19
17 Do not think that I came to abolish Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
18 Because I tell you for sure that until Heaven and earth have passed away, not one Yud [ the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet ], nor the least stroke [ of a letter ] — shall pass away from the Torah, until everything is [ passed away ]. 19 Then, whoever annuls one of the least of these Commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called "least" in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called "great" in the Kingdom of Heaven.
