Messianic Judaism Or Messianic Christianity?

So, what is Messianic Judaism as mentioned before? Messianic Judaism is a sect of Judaism that is composed by Torah-observant Messianic Jews — and Torah-obedient Messianic ex-Gentiles, who having converted to the Religion that Yeshua practiced, i.e. Judaism, have become Jewish too by getting Circumcision. As explained previously, we do not recognize as valid any teaching apart from the Written Torah, and Yeshua's explanations of it. Like the adjective "Messianic" suggests, we recognize Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel, our Messiah. This definition stands in a different theological camp than that of Messianic Christians who usually call themselves "Messianic Jews" also because many of them are of a Jewish origin, but theologically speaking they are a sect of Christianity with Jewish flavor. Therefore, they are Christian Jews, or Messianic Christians, or whatever else. But when you use the adjective "Jewish", you have to immediately exclude any shape or shadow of polytheism, which is exactly what the Trinity entails despite all the protests of Christendom to the opposite. (You know, some still think that 'Denial' is a river in Egypt)

Messianic Christianity is composed by partly theologically assimilated Jews, and by Gentile Christians who acquire an admiration — and even a genuine love — for Torah, and who assume a subsequent Judaic flavor by following some Jewish traditions. Despite of it, religiously speaking they still are Christians instead of Jewish — even though many of them are true Jews by their ancestry. Meanwhile, those of Gentile ancestry remain as not Jews because they all accept the main Christian distinctive tenets which are in direct opposition to Judaism:
  1. The Trinity polytheistic hypothesis, which equates Yeshua with YHWH — something that not only is flatly denied by Torah and the rest of Tanakh, but that Yeshua clearly and repeatedly refuted.
  2. The heretical teachings of Paul, which not only attempt to diminish Torah for the Jews, but that totally denied it for the Gentiles.
  3. The antisemitic deception called Replacement Theology, in which an amorphous and deeply divided group of Gentiles abrogate themselves the right to supplant Israel as the Bride of Elohim and the center of his Plan for the Redemption of mankind.
Now, please, do not misunderstand me, I know that some of these people are excellent individuals — nothing personal here. I must admit that I sincerely respect Messianic Christians. But my genuine respect does not prevent me from telling the Truth to whoever wants to hear the Call of Adonai to courageously abandon Babylon, and boldly return to Written Torah. I believe that such a return is necessary whether from Christianity or from Rabbinism, since both have been affected by man-made dispositions, regulations and man-made theologies. This site is dedicated to try and correct such deviations with much love and great respect for all. After all, we should all be free to express what we think with respect and, by not imposing our views, have true SHALOM among each other. Certainly, I am not a missionary going to people to convince them with my beliefs. I just expose to those who come to me what I believe to be true and evident, in order to have them consider if such exposition of mine could be the True Will of YHWH for them. I only want people to consider some spiritual issues that I find to be important; and if after pondering on them, they find them to be wrong or of no value to them, then I will consider myself satisfied. "Then, why do you say all these things," you might ask. Because I believe that many people (Christian and Rabbinic Jews alike) may be running an unnecessary risk for following wrong doctrines concocted by frail mortal men.
Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4:2   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
2 You shall not add to the Word, which I am commanding you; and you shall not take away from it in order to keep the Commandments of YHWH your Elohim, which I command you.

Deuteronomy (Devarim) 12:32   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
32 The whole Word, which I command, you shall keep to do. You shall not add upon it, nor shall you take away from it.

Proverbs (Mishle) 30:6   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
6 Do not add to His Words, lest He will rebuke you and finds you a liar.

Matthew (Mattithyahu) 5:18   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
18 Because I tell you for real that until Heaven and earth have passed away, not one Yud [ the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet ], nor the least Stroke [ of a letter ] — shall pass away from the Torah, until everything is.

Gilyanah (Revelation) 2:14-17
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there some grasping the teaching of Balaam [ prophets who prophesy for money and power ], who taught Balak to put a trap before the children of Israel by eating things sacrificed to idols an by committing fornication. 15 In the same way, you also have some grasping the teachings of the Nicolaitans [ Nicao + Laos = those who take control over the regular people in the congregations ] too. 16 Therefore, repent! If not, I shall come to you quickly and I will make war with them with the Sword of my Mouth. 17 To those having an ear: what does the Spirit say to the congregations? To him who is being victorious I will give the Manna that is concealed; and I will give him a White Voting-Pebble; and over the Voting-Stone a New Name written which no one appreciates,1 except who receives it.
1 In Greek "oida" means:
        1) To experience;
        2) To remember;
        3) To learn,
        4) To know how to, to can, to be able to;
        5) To be acquainted with;
        6) To recognize, to acknowledge;
        7) To respect, to appreciate, to have regard for.
Gilyanah (Revelation) 2:4-5   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
4 But I have against you that your Love — the first one — you have set aside. 5 Remember, then, from where you fell and repent, and do the first actions2 you did. And if not, I come to you and I will remove your Menorah3 away from its place — unless you repent.
2 He is talking about the actions commanded in Torah, in other words their 'Halachah'. Halachah is an active lifestyle based upon our obedience to Torah.
3 The menorah is the highest symbol of Jewish distinctiveness. This means that their Jewish identity will be taken away as a punishment for not taking Jewishness as something worthy, on account of accepting the Gentile values from Babylon.
So, the question is: what was in reality their First Love, the one that He is addressing in this verse? Was it their Love for Elohim? Or their Love for one another? Or their Love for the Truth? Or was it their Love for Torah? We can determine, for sure, the answer to this question by looking at the punishment that the offense caused.

Elohim's Justice is always Perfect; therefore, the punishment that He decrees is always in complete accordance with the sin that generated it. After all, He is the Universal Ruler who dictated this fair Concept even into the Laws of Nature. For example, if a force is applied to a certain body, this body will correspondingly respond by applying an equal force back to the one that causes it of equal intensity, but in opposite direction. That means that always every reaction is exactly in kind, although in inverse direction, to the initial cause of it. In the same way, the Perfect Justice of YHWH requires that the nature and intensity of the punishment always be in exact accordance with the nature and intensity of the offense. It is because of this that the cause of any punishment (sin) can always be determined by the very nature of its final Judgement — and the same with its intensity.
Proverbs (Mishleh) 1:31   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
31 And they will eat from the Fruit of their Way. And from their Counsel they will be satiated.
This is the Reasoning behind Elohim's Demand of "an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth." What He is trying to teach us with that Statute is that we should never be unbalanced or disproportionate in the exercise of our limited judgement. The punishment must always correspond with the offense and its intensity in order for it to be fair and just. It is in this way that when Elohim decrees a punishment, like in the case of Revelation (Gilyanah) 2:4-5, we can then know for sure what the original offense was.

What took place in the congregation of Ephesus is that, having been influenced by the false anti-Torah teachings of Paul, they were abandoning their 'halachah' and were embracing a Gentile approach to their lifestyle. Therefore, they were found unworthy to hold a Menorah anymore — since the Menorah is the highest symbol of Jewishness and of the Light that YHWH gave to Israel. That Light was HaTorah, the very Torah that "became flesh and dwell among us" with the name of Yeshua ben Yoseph of Nazareth.

It is interesting to notice that the period of history which the congregation of Ephesus represents is the first one of the 7 to occur right up to the Moment of the Return of Messiah. That first period lasted until the year 325 CE when under the evil direction of another anti-Messiah — Constantine I — all that the Menorah meant was forcibly eradicated under pain of death. During that first period the false anti-Menorah (anti-Torah, anti=Jewish) teachings of Paul started to get a hold in the minds and hearts of the followers of Messiah, thus creating a new Gentile religion, Christianity. Without a doubt, the more this "gentilizing" process deepened, the more Christianity rose as a new religion claiming to follow the Jewish Messiah, and also the more all Jewishness was lost. The more the darkness of the teachings of Paul mixed with Torah and Yeshua's Teachings, the less Light there was. So it went until the Vision YHWH gave at Horeb, and which Yeshua reestablished, was not only dismissed but brutally persecuted by those who should have uphold it.

Inspired by the evil teachings of Paul, and armed with the power of Rome, soon Christians would persecute Messianic Jews almost to the point of their total extinction — not to mention Rabbinic Jews. So, yes, the Punishment came through at last; the Menorah was lost. And, as if that was not enough, the persecution came at the very hands of those who had provoked Messianic Jews into the sin of loosing the First Love, Torah!

I find it necessary to clarify that Torah is the First Love of Israel — and therefore of all Messianic Jews. Yeshua came 15 centuries after the giving of Torah — in reality He is to be their Last Love. After all, Yeshua was Torah incarnate (made flesh). In the first century CE, Messianic Jews called Yeshua HaTorah (The Instruction). He was not called 'O Logos' in Greek, or 'The Word' in English, or 'El Verbo' in Spanish, or anything like that. He was called 'HaTorah' in Hebrew. That is how in reality his disciple John (Yohanan) called him when writting John 1:1. As a matter of fact, Yeshua's true identity is revealed by the conjunction of his Words and David's.
Psalm (Tehillim) 119:105   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
105 A Lamp to my feet is your Word[ Torah's Word – this whole chapter, which is the longest in the Scriptures, is an ode to Torah ], and a Light to my Path.

John (Yohanan) 8:12   (YAA.  Ya'akov's strict translation)
12 Then he, Yeshua, spoke again saying: "I am the Light of the world, so that following me under no circumstances would one walk into the Darkness, but one will have the Light of Life."
So now, let us recapitulate before we pass on to the another part of our study.

After the unsurpassable Teachings of Yeshua, and all His Confirmations and Explanations of Written Torah, any subsequent teaching and/or revelation have to totally agree with His Words, which are all found in Torah. Otherwise, they are just the false teachings of some 'navi sheker' (false prophet). After Yeshua there cannot be any new Instructions, or any new theological Models. Yes, after Yeshua there may be new prophecies for warning and encouragement — like in the book of Gilyanah, Revelation — but there is no such thing as any NEW doctrinal revelation, nor any NEW theology or any NEW model, like Paul and his followers taught and implemented. All of that was — and still is — mere blasphemous heresy, nothing else. Whatever NEW Road taught after Him was — and still is — evil-inspired, and conducive to take us captive into Babylon.

Leviticus (Wayikra)
18:4-5

4 My Judgments you shall do; and you shall observe My Ordinances to walk in them. I am YHWH your Elohim.
5 So, you shall observe My Ordinances and My Judgments, because the man who accomplishes them will live by them. I am YHWH!

Deuteronomy (Devarim)
4:1-2

1 Now, Israel, listen to the Ordinances and the Judgments, which I am teaching you to perform, in order that you may live and come and possess the Land which YHWH, the Elohim of your ancestors, is giving you.
2 You shall not add upon the Word  which  I am comman-
ding you; and you shall not take  away  from  it,  regar-
ding the Commandments of YHWH your Elohim, with which I am charging you.

Deuteronomy (Devarim)
4:5-6

5 Look, I have taught you the Ordinances and the Judgments just as YHWH my Elohim did to me, so that you do them in the midst of the Land which you come to possess over there. 6 So, you shall observe them and do them, because it is Wisdom and Understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all the Ordinances, these Ones, and will say: "Surely these great people are a wise and understanding people."

Deuteronomy (Devarim)
5:1

1 Then Moses summoned all Israel and said to them: "Hear, Israel, the Statutes and the Ordinances which I am speaking today in your ears, that you may learn them and observe them carefully.

Deuteronomy (Devarim)
6:1

1 Now this is the Commandment, the Ordinances and the Judgments which YHWH your Elohim has commanded me to teach you, so that you may do them in the Land where you are going over to possess it, 2 so that you and your son and your grandson might fear YHWH your Elohim, to keep all His Statutes and His Commandments which I command you, all the days of your life, and so that your days may be prolonged.

Deuteronomy (Devarim)
8:1

1 All the Commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, so that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the Land which YHWH swore to give to your forefathers.

Psalm (Tehillim)
119:4

4 You have ordained Your Precepts that we should keep them diligently.

Psalm (Tehillim)
119:34

1 Give me understanding, that I may observe Your Torah [ Heb. Instruction ] and keep it with all my heart.

Do you believe in Yeshua?
Look what he said:

Matthew (Mattithyahu)
5:17-19

17 Do not think that I came to abolish Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 Because I tell you for sure that until Heaven and earth have passed away, not one Yud [ the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet ], nor the least stroke [ of a letter ] — shall pass away from the Torah, until everything is [ passed away ].19 Then, whoever annuls one of the least of these Commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called "least" in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called "great" in the Kingdom of Heaven.
